For the Archetype abilities, we didn't want to be too crazy and completely overhaul them right now because we think most of them are in a good spot, but just need some tweaking. We may revisit some of them in the future if they require further work. We have mostly tweaked duration, damage, and size for now, but we will continue to monitor these as we progress.

Also, for this update, we haven’t touched the bosses because we believe their damage and health are in a good spot after Update 1, and most new players find the bosses to be a good challenge for them. One boss we did address was Monad; we increased the speed of each explosion when a phase shift occurs. For phases 2 and 3, you will see it run a bit faster than before, and it has also been tweaked to summon the aspects of the other Hylarians.

BALANCING, STABILITY & IMPROVEMENTS

Monad Fight

  • The duration between each explosion in the “Collapsing Star” move has been shortened.
  • The Cooldown for the Summon Aspects ability has been adjusted.

Economy

  • Dust Devil’s health has been increased.
  • The amount of Dust currency dropping in each biome has been decreased.
  • The amount of Echos currency that drops has been decreased.

Unlock balancing

  • The amount of Ballistica kills needed to unlock the Reaper Archetype has been increased.
  • The amount of Backstabs needed to unlock the Twin Blade Archetype has been increased.
  • The number of Boss kills needed to unlock the Duelist Archetype has been increased.

Tangles

  • The Vitalizing Havoc Tangle’s effect has been increased from 10% to 20%.

Fragments & Equipment

  • The Shell Shield cooldown has been increased from 30 sec to 35 sec.
  • The range for the Godbreak Shield’s trait, Erosive Emissions, has been increased from 3m to 5m.
  • The chance of getting back Source-Light from Prismatic Discharge has been increased.
    • Base item: From 20% to 25%Upgraded version: From 40% to 50%
  • The Primary Attack damage decrease from Direct Approach has been lowered from 30% to 25%.

Weapon Abilities

  • The damage of the Reaper’s Sentinel Meteor ability has been increased.
  • The damage from the Reaper’s Sentinel Meteor now counts as Explosive Damage.
  • The radius of the Striker’s Berserker Totem ability has been increased.
  • The radius of the Duelist’s Sanctuary Zone ability has increased.
  • The radius and damage of the Twin Blade’s Blade Nova ability have increased.
  • The cooldown of the Lancer’s Morphic Summon ability has increased.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed some issues with some fragment abilities having a higher chance to proc than what was stated in their description.
  • Fixed an issue with unlocking the Striker’s Vector Blast ability.
  • Fixed an issue with the Twin Blade’s trait to give the player increased crit chance if the Assassin's Guild ability is active.
  • Fixed an issue where players are not rewarded with the Star Seed Material when completing the Heliocentric Challenge in co-op.
  • Fixed a crash when killing Saboath with Reflect damage.
  • Fixed a crossplay error between Epic and Steam, previously preventing some players from playing between the platforms.
  • Various stability improvements.

Coming Soon

Before the end of the year, we will also release Update 2, which is a significant one! Update 2 is going to include new content in the form of a brand new Archetype: The Savage Blade, The Server Browser, New Enemy Variants with new Abilities, bigger changes to Essences, more balancing, and much, much more!
